About Us

We are a nonprofit, para-church ministry guided by a strong statement of faith. Our primary focus is to support indigenous pastors we call ‘Mobile Messengers’ with the means of transportation, so that they may go forth, evangelizing and growing the ministry of Jesus Christ.
In 2006, Frank Harrison (pictured right), Chairman & CEO of Coca-Cola Bottling Company Consolidated, began to hear about the atrocities, ethnic cleansing, and genocide taking place in Sudan. He felt it was critical to make others aware of these atrocities, so he took a camera crew to Sudan to film a documentary. They traveled from the south to the north and began to fully understand the tremendous costs of following Jesus in the country of Sudan and the physical needs of the people living there. The documentary, titled ‘With Open Eyes’, was the beginning of an awareness campaign called Sudan Can, whose proceeds were given to organizations currently working to help fill some of the physical needs of Sudanese people.
Realizing we could not stop there, in the summer of 2009, With Open Eyes was formed and we became a 501 (c) (3) public ministry. We returned to Sudan in 2009 and worked through several Sudanese pastors. These men walk great distances to reach remote villages, evangelize and identify their needs. This Biblical example shows us that God calls His children and sends His disciples. He called Abraham and sent him into the great unknown and promised to bless him. He sent Joseph into Egypt to prepare His people for the famine and sent Moses to bring His people out. He called Isaiah to be His prophet and sent Jonah to a place of ill repute. His disciples were sent to teach and preach with words of warning and promise to His people, but most importantly, He sent His Son Jesus, to give us the ultimate gift of salvation.
These pastors remind us of Jesus’ ministry and His compassion towards the lost and hurting; the sheep without a shepherd (Matthew 9:35-37). Their passion and zeal for Christ is so evident, but without mobility, the obstacles will remain. Realizing that transportation is the lifeline between pastors and people from all walks of life, we recognized how to fulfill our purpose – to equip, resource and mobilize leaders (Mobile Messengers), all over the world, to go forth and grow the Kingdom of Christ.
“Therefore go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you; and remember I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”
Matthew 28:19-20
